If you have changed your address, e-mail address, cell phone number, home phone number, or business phone number, it is important to update your contact information with Discovery FCU. This will help us reach you quickly if we have a concern about your account or a suspicious transaction, or if there is important information, we need to provide to you. Your e-mail address and cell phone number are also used as part of the 2-Step Verification process in online and mobile banking. You can easily update your personal account information in online & mobile banking in the profile settings section.
How to update your personal information in online banking.
Step One: Click More in the top navigation menu. Then select Profile Settings.
If you are using the mobile banking app, simply click on your profile picture or icon. You can also select More located in the bottom right corner of the app, click on App Settings, then click on the arrow located in the top right corner. Then select Edit.
Step Two: Update the appropriate fields.
You can update your e-mail address, home phone, work phone, personal (cell) phone number, and address. Please note that your personal phone number represents your cell number.
Step Three: Click on Save Changes.
A get verification code pop-up box will display.
Step Four: Select if you want the verification code sent to your e-mail address or cell phone, then click on Get Code.
The Get Code button will be grayed out until you select which method you prefer the verification code to be sent. Once you select your e-mail address or cell phone number, the button will turn orange. If you no longer have access to the e-mail address and cell phone number listed, or if no e-mail address or cell phone number is listed, you will need to call the credit union at 610.372.8010 to update your personal information associated with your Discovery FCU account.
Step Five: Check your cell phone or e-mail for the verification code and enter it into the field displayed. Then click, Update Profile.
The Update Profile button will be grayed out until you enter the verification code. Once you enter the verification code, the Update Profile button will turn orange. The verification code will expire one hour from the time that it is sent. If you do not receive the verification code via e-mail, please check your Spam folder. If your verification code expires, you will need to have a new code resent.
Once you successfully enter the verification code in the appropriate field and click on Update Profile. Your profile information should now be updated.
