What do I need to apply?
- Two recent pay stubs
- Your current insurance card (you will need to add Discovery FCU as ‘loss payee’).
- Sales agreement or 10-day payoff. If you are buying a vehicle privately, from another individual, we can help assist you with a private sales agreement, if needed. We can also assist you with obtaining your 10-day payoff if needed.
What is the turnaround time?
If all required documents are submitted quickly, our typical turnaround time is one to two business days. We can also accommodate same-day financing needs.
Do I have to visit the credit union to apply and/or get the loan?
No. You can apply online, e-mail the necessary information and documents to your loan officer, and you can sign your loan documents electronically.

- Nationwide protection for new and eligible pre-owned cars 12 years old and newer and up to 125,000 miles on the odometer

APRs are based on your credit worthiness, term of loan, amount of loan, direct deposit to a Discovery FCU account and electronic payments from your Discovery FCU account. A sample auto loan payment based on $10,000 at 4.84% APR and 36-month term is $298.99. Title secured loan processing fee of $25.00 can be paid up front or added to the loan balance. Monthly payment examples are representative of the maximum term for the corresponding rate per $1,000 borrowed. Rates, terms, and information are subject to change at any time.
2) Interest will continue to accrue during the 90-day payment deferral.
