Discovery FCU Mobile Banking App Update and New Features in Online Banking
The Discovery FCU Mobile Banking App received an update on 3/2/2022. If your mobile device is not set to automatically download updates, you’ll need to download the app update in your app store before you can use Discovery FCU mobile banking. The old version of our app will not work. (If you do not see the app update in your app store, click on the Discovery Butterfly Icon and it will appear on most devices.)
Look for these exciting new features in this latest update:
New! Micro-deposit verification process when establishing external accounts.
New! Pay loan by debit card feature.
New! Online banking account nickname feature. Nickname your accounts within online banking. This is only for online/mobile banking and the nicknames will not transfer over to our records or be listed on your statements.
New! Add a new share. You can now add a checking account, sub-saving account, or money market to your Discovery FCU primary member account. If you have more than one primary member account with the credit union, the new account will be added to the first primary member account listed in our system.
New! A button with a link to the Contacts feature is now included in the transfer workflow to allow for the easy setup of new contacts.
Change External Transfer Limits
- Incoming ACH to Loan: Per transaction=$10,000, Daily=$10,000, Monthly=Unlimited
- Incoming ACH to Share: Per transaction=$5,000, Daily=$5,000, Monthly=$25,000
- Outgoing ACH: Per transaction=$10,000, Daily=$10,000, Monthly=$50,000
Please remember the ACH cutoff time is 4:00 pm each business day (excludes federal holidays)
Bug Fix You can initiate mobile check deposits from the ellipse (…) in addition to the + button.
