2-Step Verification Starts on April 7th for your Online & Mobile Banking Sign-In Process
Your security is a top priority – that’s why we’re adding 2-Step Verification to your online banking and mobile banking sign-in process. Beginning on April 7, 2021, after entering your username and password when signing into online or mobile banking, you’ll be prompted to have a verification code sent to the e-mail address or cell phone number you have on file with the credit union. When you receive the code, simply enter it in the field provided and you’ll be logged into online or mobile banking.
it is important that your personal information that is associated with your Discovery FCU account is up-to-date. You can review your information and update it yourself within online or mobile banking in your profile settings. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to update your personal information in your profile settings in online banking. You can also update your information by calling the credit union at 610.372.8010.
By asking you to complete this second step, we’re double-checking your identity. 2-Step makes it much harder for fraudsters to access your account because they would need your username, password, and access to your e-mail or cell number or remembered devices. It’s one more way we’re working to protect your accounts.
Want to skip the 2-Step Verification Step on trusted devices?
When you log in to online banking from your PC or mobile device for the first time, you will be required to complete the 2-Step Verification process. If you’re using the mobile banking app, you’ll only be required to complete this process once from each mobile device you use unless you erase the device’s history, delete and re-download the app, change your password or change your mobile device.
When using online banking from a browser, such as on a PC or laptop, you’ll need to check the Remember Device option located on the sign-in page when signing in.
